Source revision: 67539794c8f95ba72ca923e2979eff00a4fc0963
See BUILD.json for the complete build identity and network protocol.

START
Extract the whole folder and launch Craterpunk.exe. No Godot installation needed.
This is a playtest for Windows x86_64. The Mac app is ad hoc signed, not notarized;
the Windows app is unsigned. Public distribution still needs release signing.
English is the default. Use LANGUAGE on the main menu to switch to Swedish.
Existing Skrotligan loadouts, rules and arena choices are preserved on upgrade.

PLAY
VS AI starts a solo match. Practice gives you a stationary target.
Choose Arena, Match Rules and Workshop change the next match.
Three arenas, four modes, 40 tools and five slots in your loadout.
Rock is indestructible. Orange soil can be dug or blasted away.

WITH A FRIEND
Use the same version on both devices and choose WITH A FRIEND.
On INTERNET, the host selects CREATE ROOM and shares the six-character code.
The friend enters it and selects JOIN WITH CODE. No port forwarding needed.
Both players must use the same room service, set under CONNECTION SETTINGS.
On LOCAL NETWORK, create a match and join it from the list or enter the host's
IP address. LAN uses UDP ports 27842 and 27843. Private rooms have two players.
The host is orange Bolt; the guest is blue Rivet.
The match continues while an online player has a menu open.
Movement is predicted locally and corrected using the host's confirmed state.
A long interruption freezes the game view with WAITING FOR NETWORK.

QUICKMATCH
Find another player for a duel, with a search limit of two minutes.
Cancel Search returns to the menu. Quickmatch uses Shaft 07, 100 hull,
five lives and your five selected tools. The public test service supports
quickmatch. Both players must be searching to be paired.

TEST SCOPE
Automated runtime and network tests do not replace human playtesting.
Physical controllers, two human players on separate machines, real mobile
devices and mobile networks still need testing. See the validation reports
for the exact platforms, source versions and checks actually performed.

TRY THIS
1. Walk over rough ground, jump, dig and swing. Rocks must stay solid and
loose casings must not block the robot.
2. Try both sticks, triggers, jump, drill, tool selection and menus.
Unplug the controller, reconnect it and resume from the pause menu.
3. Change arenas and rules. Finish a match and choose Play Again.
4. Join a private room from another device. Try rematch and Leave Match.
5. Report the version, operating system, input device and steps before a bug.
